The Irish Farm of Hope as a setting for the novel
The current novel The winter wonder of Dublin by the successful author Nicola Förg is set in Ireland.
Our rescue center, our work and the stories we experience with our animals every day served, among other things, as a template for this great book.
At this point we would like to thank Nicola Förg from the bottom of our hearts for her great support. We devoured her novel and can warmly recommend it to all Ireland fans and those who want to become one.
Nicola Förg says…
Chris is Kristiane
For 20 years now, I have been designing an animal page in the Münchner Merkur and writing crime novels that always deal with animal and environmental protection topics! And these are always topics that grab me, touch me, make me think and sometimes make me angry. And it's often about great people who put animals at the center of their lives. Anyone who has anything to do with animal protection knows that it is not always easy to endure. So close to your emotions – your own as well as those of others.
They are also images that you can't let go of and that makes me admire people like Kristiane Schott all the more.
Who do what is ethical and what has to do with the dignity of fellow creatures in a hands-on and calm manner. Her stories about the abandoned horses and the greyhounds, which - if they are too slow - are simply thrown away, grabbed me, led me to an animal page and to a book.
